Brandon McMillan - Born to Train
Born and Raised to Train
Since before he can remember, Brandon McMillan was training animals. Born into a family of trainers, Brandon’s mom always knew he was an ‘animal guy.’ From tigers and bears to elephants, he learned his craft from his father and uncle, who were both exotic animal trainers in the entertainment industry.
From Shelter Dog to Show Dog
While Brandon’s training began with exotic animals, dogs have always been a part of his repertoire. In a quest to prove to his uncle that shelter dogs could be show dogs, Brandon picked up his first dog, Raven, and started the training process. Within a few months, Raven participated in her first job and knocked it out of the park!
As time went on, Brandon started training more shelter dogs for wounded veterans and children. In 2012, Brandon was approached by an entertainment company looking to highlight his story of saving and training dogs for people in need. In 2013, he became the host of his own show.
Keeping The Stars Active With COSEQUIN®
Whether he was training them for a chase or to assist someone crossing the street, Brandon knows that keeping his dogs healthy is a priority. This is why COSEQUIN® has been a product of choice for him since his early days of training.
And, Brandon recommends COSEQUIN® to pet parents to help keep their pets active and moving.
Argus Service Foundation
In 2010, Brandon started training dogs for disabled military veterans. After seeing his first veteran and understanding his needs, Brandon knew he could train a dog for him. He realized that much of the training these dogs needed was very similar to the training he did with entertainment dogs. It was then that he determined he wanted to use his expert skills to train service dogs to help improve the lives of veterans.
